The Challenge: Standing Up to the Black Sea’s Salt Air
Our client used to operate indoor amusement projects, and was now looking to expand into large-scale outdoor rides. Their chosen location was Morskaya Alleya, a popular beachfront entertainment zone in Gelendzhik. However, the Black Sea’s salt spray and high humidity put real demands on any outdoor ride equipment.
Customized Corrosion Protection for the Black Sea
To withstand Gelendzhik’s harsh coastal atmosphere, Beston Rides equipped the 35m drop tower with a customized anti-corrosion and waterproofing system:

Marine-Grade Fluorocarbon Coatings
All structural components were sealed with specialized marine-grade fluorocarbon paint to block salt-air corrosion.
Deep Hot-Dip Galvanization
Load-bearing joints, key structural parts, and platform components underwent deep hot-dip galvanization.
Stainless Steel Fencing
The safety fencing was upgraded to stainless steel to resist oxidation from sea air exposure.
Fully Sealed LED Lighting
Every joint in the lighting system uses complete glue-injection sealing, guaranteeing reliable performance in humid, salt-laden air.
